WookieeProject: Chiss is a collaborative effort across Wookieepedia dedicated to improving the quality and status of the thousands of articles relating to the Chiss species, their culture, as well as Timothy Zahn's works. If you are interested in Thrawn, Thrass, Eli Vanto, or the canon or Legends Thrawn novels, then this WookieeProject is for you! If you wish to join the project then simply add your name under the "Participants" section.

WookieeProject goal

The main goal of the WookieeProject is to improve many of the Chiss Ascendancy–related articles on Wookieepedia from both Canon and Legends. This includes (but is not limited to) articles from the Legends Thrawn Trilogy, the canon Thrawn Trilogy, The Ascendancy Trilogy, and all other works written by Timothy Zahn. The project will often overlap with other WookieeProjects when it comes to status articles as many Chiss articles will fall under multiple projects.

WookieeProject scope

WookieeProject:Chiss covers articles relating to the Chiss and Chiss Ascendancy, whether canon, Star Wars Legends, or out-of-universe. The Chiss have appeared prominently in canon and Legends novels, but also in Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The project also covers any subject from Zahn's works.

Rules for nominations

If you wish to nominate an article for the project it must meet one of the following requirements:

• The article subject must be related to a Chiss individual, Chiss culture, Chiss government/society, Chiss history, Chiss tactics, or individuals closely associated with the Chiss Ascendancy (even if of non-Chiss species).
• The article subject must be related to Zahn's works.

Instructions

Writing

1. Use acceptable English grammar and spelling.
2. Write from a balanced and fair perspective with a neutral point-of-view.
3. Follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other policies on Wookieepedia.
4. Do not add speculation of any kind, whether it is unconfirmed info or trivial information. If it is not stated by a Lucasfilm-affiliated (or official) source, it is not canon and will not be accepted on Wookieepedia.
5. All information in an article must be sourced.
6. "Behind the scenes" section should include notes on appearances and any developmental material.
7. Don't forget "Personality and traits" and "Skills and abilities" or "Powers and abilities" sections for characters where applicable.

Editing

1. Check for flawless spelling and grammar, as well as cohesive sentence flow and context.
2. Make sure articles follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other Wookieepedia policies.
3. Make sure all information, images, and quotes are properly sourced.
4. Fix templates and check for excessive/incorrect links.
5. Check for any appearances or sources that might have been missed.
